• A thorough tooth brushing to remove plaque from their teeth.
• Apply a gel to the gums to reduce the presence of harmful bacteria.
• A gentle minty foam spray into the mouth to reduce tongue bacteria and help reduce nasty odours.
• An assessment of your dog’s oral health.

Remember the only solution to ensure your dog’s teeth remain free of plaque (which becomes tartar after 3-5 days) is daily brushing as we do with our own teeth. Sadly the build up of tartar will eventually cause pain and require veterinary dental intervention.

Paw care consists of pad AND interdigital hair maintenance.

• Start by trimming all interdigital hair and nails.
• Soak their entire paws in Warren London Deep Clean Solution. An all natural anti-bacterial treatment to prevent paw licking.
• Gentle paw scrub to remove any debris in between their toes and pads.
• Finally moisturise and protect their pads with Warren London Paw Wax.

Pads should be tough but try and avoid them becoming overly dry and cracked. Without shoes their pad care is even more important than our own. A regular scrub and moisturise will keep them walking fit!

Neglected interdigital hair left to grow long can be an inconvenience for your dog as they lose traction and slip when walking. You may even notice them licking their paws due to a bacterial build up. More worrying is the onset of matting. Dogs attract many types of debris in between their toes (dirt, thorns, seeds, gum and even ice) that will irritate the skin and eventually produce painful matts that might require veterinary intervention to remove.
